Final: Milton shot 65 percent from the field and enjoyed a balanced attack with four starters in double-figures as the Eagles dismantled Newton, 86-54, in the boy's semis. With the win, the Eagles advance to the state finals tomorrow night versus Westlake.
10:13 p.m. - Have had some technical difficulties...my apologies. It has been all Milton in the second half. Royal has 13 points this half for MHS - including four thunderous dunks - to lead the Eagles to a big lead of 79-46. There is 3:30 remaining in the game.
9:43 p.m. - MHS leads 46-26 at the half behind a balanced scoring attack. Evan Nolte leads the way with 15 points on 5-for-5 shooting from 3-point land. Shannon Scott has 10 points, while Parker and Julian Royal have nine. The game has been played at Milton's tempo all the way, as the Eagles are creating havoc in transition and shooting a high percentage in the halfcourt.
9:35 p.m. - MHS continues its hot shooting. Eagles lead 37-21 - alley oop slam from Dai-Jon Parker!!!
9:25 p.m. - MHS leads 23-12 after one period over Newton. The Eagles are scorching the nets, and have already hit four 3-pointers. Sophomore Evan Nolte has nine points (on three 3's) to pace MHS.

9:17 p.m. - The Milton boys have jumped out to a 9-2 lead over Newton with 5:46 remaining in the opening period.
