AUDITION NOTICE FOR The 2010
Broadway Boundâ„¢ SUMMER PERFORMANCE BOOT CAMP July 19-30 with Broadway Actress & Tisch School of the Arts/CAP 21 Liaison
Presented by the Metropolitan Theatre Conservatory
HELD IN DUNWOODY/SANDY SPRINGS
Ages 8-17.
Auditions are being held for a once in a lifetime opportunity to train and perform in an hour long full scale production with a Broadway and T.V. Actress and other featured professional guest artists, directors, choreographers, and casting directors.
The Broadway Bound Boot Camp is proud to feature Broadway Guest Artist, Director, Acting Coach, and Broadway Dreams Foundation Board Member, Kate Guyton , seen recently on Broadway with Kevin Kline and Jennifer Garner and who is currently launching numerous young professional careers in Musical Theatre, Stage Film and T.V. careers in her work at the Cap 21 program and NYU Tisch School of the Arts where she not only teaches, but serves as the industry liaison.
This is not to be missed for the serious young actor whose goal is working professionally in theatre/film/tv, acceptance at a leading University as a Theatre major, and to learn the Broadway audition process and to be personally evaluated by Ms. Guyton.
During the two week-long camp, students work with professional performers, directors, accompanists in an M.F.A based curriculum and receive quality education, training and one on one instruction in: acting technique, auditioning, voice, dance, on camera work, monologue study, scene study, Shakespeare & classical styles of acting and more.
In addition, they receive valuable tips on the business side of the theatre: writing resumes, the perfect headshot, networking, how to prepare material for each type of audition, and more.
The second week of the Boot Camp combines training with rehearsal for the main stage production on Friday, July 30.
